About the Library

The Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society library is a non-circulating collection of materials made available to its members, and the general public, to aid in the research of general genealogy as well as specifically Western Pennsylvania ancestors.

Many Family Genealogies not found elsewhere, research materials, microforms, audio cassettes, vertical files of family research, church histories, cemetery histories, and locality research, also the First Families of Western Pennsylvania ancestors.



Library Hours

Monday -Thursday      9 am - 9 pm
Friday - Saturday    9 am - 5:30 pm
                       Sunday   1 pm - 5pm (October through May )
